  As we know, the SAT consists of two main sections, each divided into two "modules." The second module of each section is adaptive, meaning its difficulty adjusts based on your performance in the first module. Q. What is the exam format?  The Reading and Writing section has 27 questions per module, each module of duration 32 minutes. The Math section has 22 questions per module, each module of duration 35 minutes. The scoring ranges from 200 to 800 for each section (Reading and Writing and Math), resulting in a total maximum score of 1600. Q. How does the score vary with wrong answers?  1. Score Ceilings: For each section, if you are routed to the "easier" second module due to poor performance in module 1, your section score is often capped (typically around 600–640), regardless of how many you get right in that second module. 2. Digital SAT – how to prepare? The SAT has made the jump from the pen and paper format to the digital format. However, for preparation, there is hardly any material available anywhere! The College Board has come up with a few sample questions along with a few tests – 4 adaptive and 4 pen & paper. This is obviously not sufficient for everyone. In this article, we will discuss how we can use existing content available freely to suit our Digital SAT needs. The test is adaptive – so section 2 of each module will depend on how one has performed in the first section – if the performance in the first section is great, the second section will be harder, else it will be easier resulting in a dip in score.
